Do you see that little girl, lying in her bed?
Twisting and turning. Trying not to think, trying to forget.
It’s harder than she thought it would be. But, that one painful situation
is the only thing she can see.
Sometimes,
she lies awake at night and cries. She can’t forget, she can’t forgive,
no matter how hard she tries…
The images just keep flowing through her mind, images of the unforgettable kind.
Although years have passed,
these bad, guilty feelings seem to last…
